The Pestana Sintra Golf Hotel can become quite loud during parts of the day due to guests using the outdoor facilities. Unfortunately there is a lack of sound proofing in the rooms and some guests have found it hard to fall asleep at night. The walls are also quite thin and the noise from neighboring rooms can be heard.

Some guests have found it hard to enjoy a good nights sleep due to the hardness of the beds. Other guests have complained that they were able to feel the springs in the bed and could not fall asleep.

Although this hotel provides two outdoor pools, guests have found the temperature of the pools too cold and would rather swim in the indoor pool. This could create too much congestion in one pool leaving the others empty.
