Hotel Pera Orient Suites (Istanbul, Turkey)

Yusuf Pasa Konagi Hotel is perfectly located with close proximity to Taksim Square (approx. Six-minute walk) and Istiklal Street. Taksim has many good restaurants, cafes and ice cream shop, where guests can savour a variety of delicacies. Also, many sightseeing spots, places to shop are located nearby.

Guests loved the cleanliness of hotel and rooms. The rooms are cleaned everyday, is of good size and well-maintained. Some rooms even provide beautiful views. Guests feel that the hotel provides good value for money owing to friendly staff, good breakfast and walkable distance to Takshim.

The staff especially the receptionist has been loved by the guests. They are very informative, available all the time, give useful tips about the area and helpful in every which way possible.

Since the hotel is close to prayer speaker, you may get a little disturbed. However, almost all the hotels are near speakers in Istanbul, so you cannot really escape it.

The hotel may be a little difficult to find initially. You will have to do your research or just contact receptionist when close to the hotel and they will guide you. It is close to Takshim but located in a street, which is not known to many.

Some guests reported a few minor issues like blocked shower, thin walls, not a very friendly neighbourhood etc. However, guests had a great overall experience at the hotel.
