Although a number of guests have mentioned that this hotel is not as close to the city centre as the name suggests, the location tends to be popular nonetheless. Guests have enjoyed being close to shopping at Cabot Circus and also note the proximity of the main bus station.
Previous guests have found the rooms here to be of an excellent standard. The accommodation is described as being clean and comfortable. Plus, guests have appreciated the amenities, finding the custom-designed beds comfortable and the free Wi-Fi reliable.
The free breakfast regularly exceeds the expectation of guests. This above average breakfast is found to offer a good selection of hot and cold items, all of which are nicely prepared and of a good standard. The breakfast area itself also attracts positive feedback, with many guests finding it clean and spacious.
If there’s a negative to the rooms, it’s that they are found to be a little on the small side when making use of the sofabeds. If you plan to use the room to accommodate more than two guests at a time, you may find things a little cramped.
Guests note that the bar at this hotel is actually situated in the lobby. This led guests to feel a little on show and less able to relax than they would have been able to if the bar been in a separate room.
Previous guests haven’t been pleased with the parking situation at this Bristol hotel. Even with the discount offered by the hotel, the cost of the public parking is found to be on the high side. For longer trips, parking costs can add a significant amount to your stay.
