The Hotel Castille hotel is a three star property based in the heart of Valletta, Malta’s capital city. The hotel was originally built at the turn of the 16th century as the residence of the influential De Robertis family.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms, real wood flooring and individual air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi access, safe, satellite TV, phone and hair dryer are some other room features.
The Hotel Castille hotel boasts panoramic views of the Grand Harhour and its majestic fortifications. There is a 24-hour reception, a reading lounge on each of the floors of the hotel, a sitting room and a TV lounge.
There are two restaurants on the hotel premises. The De Robertis Restaurant is located on the terrace of the former palace and offers great views while dining. La Cave Wine Cellar and Pizzeria occupies the basement and the coffee shop is now in what used to be the stables.
The hotel is close to the bus terminus and ferry terminal. It is a short walk from Triton Fountain in Valletta's main square.

The quirky, old fashioned charm of the Castille, helpful staff and good service means that the hotel is seen as offering good value for the money charged.
Guests have complimentary use of Wi-Fi facilities in the hotel’s rooms and common areas. However the connection is a little hit and miss (which is the case all over the island according to some guests) and is best in the reception area.
Adequate rather than luxurious.
