Review summary
Summarized by AI from 40+ reviews
This hotel is primarily celebrated for its prime location in the city center, offering easy access to the port and local attractions, making it an excellent choice for sightseers and transit travelers seeking convenience. Many rooms boast balcony views, providing a memorable aspect of the stay. The property's distinct vintage style appeals to niche travelers who appreciate a sense of history and nostalgia, with some feeling transported to an earlier era. Guests frequently commend the kindness and helpfulness of the owner, who often goes out of her way to assist. While the hotel's age contributes to its unique character, it also leads to mixed feedback on cleanliness and room comfort. To make the most of your visit, guests recommend requesting a room with a balcony to enjoy the scenic vistas and advise managing expectations regarding the hotel's older, authentic charm rather than anticipating modern amenities.
