The 310 air-conditioned rooms at Eix Platja Daurada Hotel & SPA offer satellite TV and 24 hour room service, while Wi-Fi is free of charge. Private en suite bathrooms include vanities. Amenities include an indoor and outdoor pool, while business travellers can make use of the meeting rooms with high speed Internet. The modern spa offers Turkish baths and hot tub with water jets. A complimentary breakfast is offered each morning, while a casual restaurant serves buffet meals for dinner. Snacks, including pizza, are available from the on-site café. For an enjoyable game of golf, the Club de Golf Alcanada can be found within a 20 minute drive from Eix Platja Daurada Hotel & SPA, or visit the Albufera Natural Park, within a five minute drive.

The hotel is right on the beach. But it was not merely this fact that impressed guests, but rather the fact that it was a particularly lovely stretch of beach. The hotel was said to be on the edge of town, so got the benefit of the city amenities, but was still close to an almost wild, and very lovely, stretch of beach as well.
Despite having several other things going for it, it was undoubtedly the service from the staff that most impressed guests about the hotel. Again and again they mentioned that service was both friendly and flawless.
Though the walk in to town, along the beach, was said to be lovely, and not too far, guests mentioned that if they didn't feel like walking there was a bus stop right outside the hotel and they could catch a quick bus into town from there.
Unfortunately Eix Platja Daurada could not seem to beat the bad hotel Wi-Fi curse, with many guests complaining that it was very unreliable and frustrating. Guests with an urgent need for reliable connectivity may have to consider activating data roaming.
While this certainly wasn't considered a serious issue, a few guests did point out that there were not many English speaking tourists at the hotel. While they didn't feel they were treated poorly, quite the contrary in fact, some did feel a bit isolated.
Though renovations seem to be ongoing, some guests mentioned that the rooms at the hotel can vary quite a bit in quality, even if belonging to the same booking class.
