The staff members at Stirling Youth Hostel are said to be a highlight, with guests mentioning that they proved very helpful in all regards — especially handy with recommendations and assisting with sightseeing planning — as well as being friendly sorts. On top of this, the breakfast on offer is apparently simple, but filling.
This hostel is said to offer warm, clean, basic accommodation; which guests said was good value for money and even located in a lovely old building. People also were happy with what they said were quality shared facilities, including a kitchen featuring everything they needed.
Guests appreciated the hostel's central location, which some said offered nice vistas looking out over Stirling, as well as the chance to walk to all of the town's historic attractions, such as Stirling Castle. In addition, a few mentioned that parking was also available, which was handy for those driving throughout Scotland.
A few guests who stayed at Stirling Youth Hostel said they found that the free Wi-Fi only really works in the common areas — although most people did not mention such problems. Furthermore, a small handful of people were disappointed to find that they only had a single plug socket for charging electronics in their rooms.
