Rathbaun Hotel (Lisdoonvarna, Ireland)

Many guests thought the live music was a nice touch to keep the ambiance vibrant and friendly. Many enjoyed it since it was daily, and there were other guests to talk to. Some guests came just for the music that is offered.

Many guests enjoyed the family and the hosts of the hotel, and mentioned them as nice people who knew how to treat their guests. They were talkative, helpful and wanted to know their guests from a human perspective. They helped with luggage, directions and recommendations.

The guests who stayed in the hotel were very happy with the tranquil and green location. It was close to the Cliffs of Mother and in the centre of town. There were also a few restaurants and places to drink in the town.

The beds were found to be uncomfortable and a bit small for some guests. They also found the mattresses had plastic covers on them which made it uncomfortable every time you moved.

The decorations are found to be old-fashioned by some guests who did not like the decorations. The furnishings could be renovated because the feel was like being in the past. It would be nice to have a modern look.

The Wi-Fi was found to be poor by some guests who could not use the Internet. They felt the signal was too weak and therefore the speed was very slow. If guests relied on the free Wi-Fi it was a bit annoying.
