    Surrounded by amazing places.

    The hotel is in such a fantastic location to be able to visit so many different places. Verona is around 40-minutes away and the Dolomites are also nearby. Staying on the shores of Lake Garda means that you simply have to do a lake tour; these are available every day. Venice is approximately 90-minutes away so definitely close enough for a day trip. The centre of Bardolino is just a short walk away.

    Afternoon tea is a lovely treat.

    Many guests have mentioned the afternoon tea served each day which was unexpected by some so it was a very welcome treat to get complimentary tea and cakes. Others have also said that they received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in their room which was also a nice surprise.

    There is so much food available that guests have said they were spoiled for choice. All of the food served is cooked really well using fresh produce and with something to suit all tastes.

    A cold reception on check-in.

    The reception staff can be quite impolite at times such as not conversing with guests and not making eye contact when speaking to them. This doesn’t create a good first impression.

    The buffet restaurants have been described as like being in the military for the regimented way that everybody has to queue up and is expected to be in and out very quickly.
