The hotel is positioned in very close to popular attractions such as the Chinatown Heritage Centre and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is just a few minutes stroll away where guests can explore. Quite a number of restaurants, pubs and shops are within reach. The surrounding the hotel is clean and safe.

The customer service at the hotel is second to none. The staff will make you feel right at home and like part of the family. They go out of their way to respond to any queries and quickly solve any concerns a customer may have. The reception staff are especially gracious, ready to lend a hand and polite.

There is a wide variety of food on offer at the hotel. The varied menus greatly helped in catering for different palates. Guests found the dishes to be expertly prepared. Service was also top notch and one did not have to wait for long to be seated and served.

Small rooms and tiny bathrooms are a common complaint among some of the guests at the hotel. The showers cubicles are too small and can barely offer enough space or even fit an adult, according to a few guests.

A few guests complained about the thin walls. Noise carried easily from room to room and this was a major problem especially for those who wanted to have a peaceful time and had to get up early in the morning and couldn't fall asleep.

Though the hotel offers free Wi-Fi for the guests, the feeling of some was that the speed is relatively slow to do anything productive with. At times the connection seemed to be on and off thus disrupting their usage.
