Review summary
Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews
This hotel is a charming traditional Japanese retreat, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts and luxury travelers seeking an authentic cultural experience. Its prime location offers ski-in/ski-out access directly adjacent to the Kumanoyu ski resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The highlight of the property is its on-site hot springs, featuring unique emerald-green, sulfur-rich waters for a truly relaxing soak. Guests consistently praise the delicious and abundant culinary offerings, with both dinner and breakfast exceeding expectations, particularly the Western-style beef tongue stew and flavorful sukiyaki. For the best experience, consider booking a room on a higher floor for potentially better views and a quieter ambiance.
