Kew Gardens Hotel (Richmond-upon-Thames, United Kingdom)

The Kew Gardens Hotel is ideally located and guests find it convenient for a stay in SW London. They find the area pleasantly quiet and the Kew Village and Kew Gardens are a few minutes' walk. The tube and train station is also a five-minute walk and guests say that it is handy to use the services for connections to central London.

Guests say that the rooms have attractive furnishings. They are modern, comfortable and cosy. Guests say they enjoy relaxing in front of the TV with Freeview and are delighted with the Nespresso machine. The bathroom with organic toiletries and robes is another wonderful surprise.

Guests find the staff of the hotel very friendly. Many guests appreciate the delicious cooked breakfast and the food served at the hotel. They say that the menu including the vegetarian meal is excellent. They find it lovely to be able to sit down at the gastropub for a drink and recommend the Kew brew.

Some guests with rooms next to the generator or boiler that are switched on all night had disturbed sleep in the night owing to the constant noise. Guests say the noises from the pub downstairs and the street can also be heard and cause a disturbance in the nights.

Guests say that when the restaurant is crowded, things get a tad bit disorganized. An order takes about 45 minutes to be served, not all the starters on the menu are available and things like ketchup run out.

A small issue the guests face at the hotel is parking. There is no direct car park at the hotel but only street side parking which is not open to guests between 10 am and 2 pm.
