While rooms at the Travelodge Penrith don't entirely escape criticism, most guests are reasonably happy with the standard of the accommodation. For the most part, the beds are found to be comfortable and guests mention that the Wi-Fi is fast.
Guests find the staff at the hotel are friendly and welcoming. Plus, they seem to make a noticeable effort to acknowledge guests as they enter and leave the hotel during their stay. Any requests are typically dealt with to the satisfaction of guests.
Many guests found the location of the hotel was convenient. Since it's within easy reach of the M6, some guests used it as a stopover to break up a longer trip. Others were happy enough to use the hotel as a base from which to explore the Lake District.
