Many guests enjoy the central location of this hotel. From this convenient base near the CORE Shopping Centre, you'll be able to indulge in retail therapy, grab a bite to eat in one of the nearby cafes or enjoy performances at Arts Commons, just a short stroll away.
Just as their name suggests, the Westin Heavenly beds at this Calgary hotel don't disappoint, with many well-rested guests praising the hotel for wonderful sleep quality in the cozy beds. Designed to relax you, they feature a pillow-top mattress, which guests really enjoy.
From leaky shower doors to luke-warm water and mold, some of the showers at The Westin Calgary seem to be letting it down. Some guests were able to enjoy the "waterfall" showers but those whose rooms feature the older style showers were disappointed in their experience.
Unfortunately noise from neighboring rooms can sometimes affect guests' comfort in this hotel. Some visitors have mentioned that they felt the rooms need better sound proofing to prevent noises from other rooms.
A small number of guests have mentioned that although the hotel has many good points, some aspects are starting to show age. Some guests mention poor room lighting as an issue, while others are disappointed in the overall appearance of the interiors. It is believed that an upgrade to the Business Tower will be completed in 2016.
