Hotel Sole Relax & Panorama (Riva del Garda, Italy)

The views were highly commended here. While those with lake-facing rooms loved their accommodation, guests with piazza-facing accommodation found that their units were perfectly appointed for people watching and taking in views of Riva's medieval belfry, the Torre Apponale. Additionally, many commented on just how comfortable their stays were at this hotel, with the units being noted for their overall cosiness.

Lakeside access was a key feature here. Not only is this hotel adjacent to the marina, but the local ferry port is just a short stroll away, making it easy for guests to explore the wider Lake Garda region.

In terms of overall quality, the breakfasts at this hotel are highly rated. Some went as far as to say that this was their favourite meal here. Additionally, the staff at this property are helpful and the porter service in particular was much appreciated.

While the rooms here are comfy, some noted that they are a touch dated. Those in this camp felt that, in this sense, the property was resting on its laurels, touting its great location while perhaps neglecting to modernise its rooms.

Guests were dismayed to find that it's absolutely impossible to access this particular property by car. This meant driving up, dropping off bags and parking at an off-site location. These arrangements were less than ideal for some, especially those with mobility issues.

This hotel appears to have quirky mealtime seating arrangements in place whereby guests keep the same spot throughout their stay. This was not to everyone's taste.
