Hotel Servatur Riosol (Puerto Rico, Spain)

There are two pools and a large, pleasant sun terrace which is clean and well maintained. The pool bar serves snacks for guests not wanting to go much further than their sun lounger.

The Europa centre is approximately five minutes away by foot. This shopping centre also has a range of restaurants and bars, including international brand names, many of which are open until late. There is a family entertainment area at the Barbacoa which includes pool tables, trampolines, tennis courts, mini-golf and arcade games.

Puerto Rico is situated on a hill with the Hotel Riosol perched near the top. Mixed with huge balconies many of the rooms have spectacular sea views and with the outdoor furniture provided you may feel that there’s no need to even leave your room.

Due to its hillside location the hotel may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The complex is quite large and past guests have even said you could get lost in it and there are many stairs throughout the hotel which are almost unavoidable. The beach is approximately a 15-minute walk away down a steep hill and therefore it has been recommended budgeting for taxi journeys to get you back up.

Not all of the rooms have air-conditioning so guests have to pay extra in order to hire a mobile unit. Previous guests have recommended weighing up the cost to do this against upgrading to a room which already has it.

Although the pool areas are generous there still doesn’t seem to be enough sun loungers for the size of the hotel complex. There is a rule in place that the loungers cannot be reserved for more than 30-minutes, but this isn’t enforced.
