The Hotel Serawa Moraira Hotel is a small resort style property with basic facilities mere minutes’ walk from rugged La Galera Beach. The rooms are fairly basic, but all have balconies, and many have lovely views through the trees to the Mediterranean beyond. There is a sparkling pool in the hotel’s grounds, and for the children, a special play area. The reception is open 24 hours, and staff can assist with luggage storage. There is also Wi-Fi access. A basic breakfast is available at the hotel, but there are also many good cafes in the neighbourhood. They serve mainly British and Spanish favourites. For a bit more fun a taps bar is perhaps a better bet. For some quick supplies, the Mas Y Mas supermarket is just steps away, while the small craft harbour, with charters available, is just 1.5 miles along the coastal road from the Hotel Serawa Moraira Hotel.

While the décor was dated, and the amenities were thin on the ground, guests resoundingly reported receiving exactly what they ordered - a budget style room at a budget hotel at budget prices. Guests were definitely not dissatisfied with the value they received.
They go on to report, however, that, the budget theme didn't spill over into a disregard for cleanliness. Guests were happy to report that both their rooms, and the hotel at large, were kept very clean at all times.
Several motorists were very pleased to report that the price of on-site parking was included in their room rate. They found this most civilised and agreeable.
While there are ceiling fans, these are perhaps not sufficient for the Spanish summer, merely giving the hot air some exercise by chasing it around the room. Rooms tend to get quite hot in the summer months, and guests were definitely missing air conditioning.
A very common complaint at budget hotels, it was no different here. The walls were described as “paper thin”, with sounds seemingly travelling through them unhindered.
Though not really a complaint, per se, since most guests conceded they were booked into budget accommodation, they nonetheless commented that the décor is extremely dated. Most did not have a major issue with this, but the hotel would perhaps not suit guests who like things sleek and modern.
