The island is filled with ancient trees, ruins and recreation facilities, while the city centre is a 10 minute drive away. The hotel’s rooms are air conditioned and all have a balcony, en-suite bath and toilet, safety deposit box, minibar, TV, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee maker and telephone. Eight function rooms are present, seating a maximum of 300 people. Guests can access a business centre, room service, concierge, souvenir shop and florist, while laundry/dry-cleaning services, car rental, charged parking and transfers are available. Ensana Thermal Margaret Island has a restaurant, cafe with terrace, lobby bar and a pool bar. A ferry dock and bus stop are a few minutes’ walk away.

Some guests were of the opinion that the hotel rooms looked dated and were in need of an update and a two-floor refurbishment actually took place in May 2015, so this may well be something which has been addressed (with some noise caused in doing so).
While you may be one of those who is lucky enough to find Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget’s staff members professional and friendly, there were others who found them to be unfriendly and inattentive.
This was not an issue for the vast majority of guests, who were mainly there to relax but for a few the island location was a little further for the city centre than they would have liked.
