Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
A historic village retreat for fans of local charm.
This property serves as a character-filled destination for sightseers seeking an authentic, period-style lodging experience. The hotel sits at the main crossroads of Knowlton, pairing its central village access with a casual bistro that serves as a standout dining highlight. Guests often praise the clean and comfortable rooms, though those looking for a quieter night may prefer requesting a room away from the main thoroughfare to minimize ambient noise from the historic structure.
Some guests mentioned: thin walls, inconsistent service, saggy mattresses.
