Located on the base of Aiguille du Midi mountain, Sweet & Spa - L'Héliopic has a spectacular setting. The close proximity to Aiguille du Midi cable-car, five minute walking distance from city centre, Midi lift and buses to the slopes make it attractive to guests coming on a holiday.
Spa by Nuxe is pure bliss with excellent treatments and services. The facilities like sauna, ice pool, Jacuzzi, tepidarium, Turkish steam bath and other wellness treatments will recharge you after a day full of activities.
Since Sweet & Spa - L'Héliopic is not very old, everything is new and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail has been paid in everything like dressing gowns and slippers to go down to the pool etc. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-designed with balcony, which is like icing on the cake.
Guests felt that being a four star property; the hotel should have had a minibar in the rooms. Lack of A.C is not felt during most part of the year, only in July, when the weather is hot.
Many guests felt the road between the rooms and mountains is a little noisy. Noise from people going up the mountain or coming back and due to the construction work taking place may be a little annoying.
The buffet breakfast at Sweet & Spa - L'Héliopic is a little expensive. The breakfast as well as dinner is good but more options can be added, as the choices available are limited.
