About Eibsee Hotel

  • Direct access to Zugspitze cable-car

Reach the Zugspitze cable car station in a four-minute walk to access Germany's highest mountain for skiing or sightseeing.

  • Bavarian dining with panoramic views

Savor regional and international cuisine in the panoramic restaurant, which offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake and Zugspitze mountain.

  • Variable room views and layouts

Certain guest rooms feature bay windows rather than balconies, which may result in obstructed views of the lake or mountain scenery.

  • Panoramic sauna with lake access

Relax in the Finnish sauna featuring a large panoramic window before taking a refreshing dip directly into the Eibsee.

  • Family-friendly amenities and activities

Utilize the dedicated children's playroom, kid-friendly buffet options, and complimentary sled rentals during winter months for a family-oriented stay.

  • Seasonal traffic and access delays

High visitor volume at the Eibsee during peak seasons can lead to significant traffic congestion on the single access road to the property.

  • Absence of air conditioning systems

Guest rooms lack air conditioning, requiring windows to be opened for ventilation during warmer periods.

The 4-star Eibsee Hotel is located directly on the emerald Eibsee lake at the foot of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze. The hotel offers a private lake beach with complimentary use of kayaks, SUPs, and pedal boats, alongside a panoramic restaurant and a unique lake terrace. Guests can access the seeSpa wellness area, which includes a Kelo sauna with lake views, and benefit from direct access to the Eibsee Cable Car. The hotel has a review score of 8.8 based on over 2,500 reviews, with atmosphere, location, and activities highlighted positively by guests.
