Guests enjoy the hotel being within a 10-minute walking distance to the city center and the wonderfully serene atmosphere along the canal.

Between the hotel gym, sauna and steam room, guests have ample opportunity to unwind after a long day of sightseeing or working.

Guests noted that the breakfast includes a choice of scrambled eggs and seasoned potatoes as well several cold options like cereal or toast, which they found to be a comprehensive and tasty offering. Guests recommend upgrading to the executive level, which includes an even greater breakfast buffet featuring daily changing local wines and delicious assortments of cheese.

While some guests reported having experienced only wonderful customer service, others reported extremely long check-ins with less than friendly personnel, an unwillingness to offer local recommendations or advice, and extremely long wait times after initiating a service requests. These seem to have been the minority though, which should not deter from the otherwise pleasant experience.

Wi-Fi is only free in the lobby unless you are a Marriott Rewards members, which comes highly recommended. Otherwise guests found the cost of in-room Wi-Fi to be much too high, especially since there are two different standards for slow and enhanced speed at almost the same price.

While guests appreciate the restaurant service and meals, some guests having ordered room service wre less than pleased with the experience. They reported that it took between 40 minutes and an hour to receive their order, which was cold by then.
