Positive Reviews

Comfortable and well-equipped rooms

Rooms at the Yeovil Court Hotel don't completely escape criticism but the majority of guests describe the accommodation as clean and comfortable nonetheless. The beds seem to be of a good standard and there are few reviews that indicate anything other than that the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable.

Excellent breakfast

Breakfast tends to go down well and is often highly rated. Guests appreciate the lighter alternatives to the full English. Indeed, the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are consistently recommended. Guests also mention that the surroundings are pleasant and the service good.

Friendly and attentive staff

Guests are frequently impressed by the standard of service offered at this hotel. There are occasional exceptions but, for the most part, guests find the staff is genuinely friendly and keen to make guests feel welcome.

Negative Reviews

Several sources of noise

Reviews of this hotel highlight that guests are often disturbed by noise. Some guests found the nearby traffic levels were high while others mention the noise from functions and from within nearby rooms. It seems that earplugs may be needed here.

Dated decor

Although guests tend to agree that this hotel is clean and comfortable overall, a number of reviews do allude to the fact that you may find your surroundings a little tired and dated looking. Some light renovations would seemingly improve the appearance of this hotel.

Rooms can feel hot

It seems that the temperature control mechanisms in some of the rooms could do with being checked over by the maintenance team. A number of guests comment that they were unable to turn the temperature down, thus finding their room a little too hot at times.
