Positive Reviews

Nice Price to Simply Lay Your Head.

No frills necessary here, with many City Lodge guests loving the concept of a basic, yet clean and tidy spot to simply spend the night. The perk here for many was the resulting affordable price.

Fabulous Location.

With so many restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops within walking distance, you will need your accommodation for nothing more than a spot to rest your head. Guests were delighted with City Lodge's convenient proximity to Yeovil's shopping district and dinin

More Than Coffee & Tea.

Many guests booking this budget hotel expected basic rooms for the price, but were pleasantly surprised to find the nice added touch of bottled water, biscuits, and sometimes even fruit offered along with coffee & tea making facilities.

Negative Reviews

Earplugs May be Required.

Some guests reported having a terrible night's sleep due to a combination of street noise as well as thin walls allowing neighbour noise to come through. On the other hand, many of these same guests praised the wonderful location.

Could Do With a Cleaning.

Some complained of finding dusty rooms with filthy carpets, and stained bedsheets and curtains. Others mentioned stale smoke smells, and tired, dirty looking corridors.

Some Rooms Are Tiny.

Some guests issued poor reviews over room size, with some describing barely having enough space to walk around the bed perimeter, and not having enough room to open the closet or a full ironing board.
