Positive Reviews

Central for Woking attractions

Those interested in heading out for the restaurants, nightclubs and shopping of town will find Woking ideally placed for an easy trip home and likewise, those simply stopping over will appreciate its proximity to the train station.

Pleasant staff step things up

While the hotel is most definitely a budget establishment, the friendly staff helps to make it cheap and cheerful, as opposed to simply cheap.

Basic and practical budget accommodation

The lodgings are basic, but provide everything you need for a budget price and with a soft drink dispenser in the entry area, unlimited hot drinks and decent continental breakfast available to order, the value for money is decent.

Negative Reviews

Needs upgrading and care

Guests have reported the bathrooms at Woking as particularly needing attention with mould on the tiles, while the heating is not able to be turned off, the carpet dirty in places and many parts generally showing some wear and tear.

Water pressure issues

If you have bad luck, like a few previous guests you may find the the water pressure to be bad in the mornings making it hard to have your pre-work/ post-revelry shower.

Next to nightclubs

If you are there for the weekend and do not plan to frequent Woking’s nightclubs, be aware that some of these are right next door to the hotel, so you may experience loud music until early in the morning.

No private car parking

While there is a multi-story car park not far from the hotel, there is no private or on-street parking, so keep this in mind if you have plenty of luggage or do not want to pay extra.
