Positive Reviews

Heart of Colonial Williamsburg

Travellers have said that you can’t beat the location of this bed-and-breakfast. Whether it’s families in town to visit students at William & Mary or friends and couples just doing a Colonial Williamsburg weekend, the location is ideal for exploring restaurants, shops and other attractions, which are all a stone’s throw away.

Generous Breakfast

Mornings begin with a nice hearty breakfast spread with tasty casseroles, french toast, fruit, Virginia ham, biscuits, bacon and more. Guests have raved about the tasty selections as well as the freshly brewed coffee.

Gracious Hosts

Attentive inn keepers have caught the attention of people who stayed here. Not only are they quick to provide suggestions of where to eat and go in Williamsburg, they are also highly responsive in accommodating guests’ needs whether it’s arranging for parking or helping with bags. Happy guests have referred to them as “super hosts” and are part of the reason they’ll be back.

Negative Reviews

No Lift

Travellers with mobility issues should know that the inn is accessible only by stairs--there is no elevator. All of the rooms are on the second level so you’ll have to lug your luggage one flight up.

Housekeeping Access

Although there is a Do Not Disturb sign, there have been instances where housekeeping completely ignored it and entered the room anyway. This didn’t sit well with those who prefer their privacy.

Air-Conditioning Noise

Depending on which room you stay in, you might hear the humming of the main air-conditioning unit for the inn as guests have reported in the past.
