Positive Reviews

Charming Old-World Feel.

You will really get the feeling and atmosphere that comes along with old-world Ireland here. Every afternoon, Tinakilly Country House offers afternoon tea for visitors. The theme throughout the entire hotel holds true to the old-world feeling.

Spacious, Impressive Rooms.

Every room in the hotel is generously sized, with huge four-post beds. There is a lot of room to relax and unwind for the day or evening, as well as comfortable furnishings spread throughout.

Beautiful Surrounding Area.

The area around the house is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely gardens and flowers are scattered throughout, with amazing views of the sea. It’s the perfect spot for an evening walk or morning jog.

Negative Reviews

Children’s Menu Is Small.

Though the house offers a wide selection of food choices for all guests, the kid’s menu could use some more options to pick from. If you have a picky eater, you might have a hard time trying to find something he or she likes.

Food Can Be Pricey.

While the food provided is absolutely delicious, with some unique choices available, it can be on the expensive side. There aren’t many other restaurants very close by, so you will have to travel if you want other options.

Not Enough Attention to Detail.

During dinner time, you may notice there aren’t wine glasses on the table. There may be empty salt/pepper shakers and sugar bowls on the table, too. The owners could spend more time paying attention to such items.
