Kerb appeal

The apartment is in an attractive, Colonial style property which has been very well maintained. Once inside, the owners are very friendly and helpful.

Clean with all the required essentials

The apartment is well furnished and decorated. It has all the essentials – and a number of extras – designed to make your stay a pleasure. Linen and towels are supplied and the entire place is very clean. Some toiletries are supplied but there is a supermarket very close by, so it’s no problem to get more.

Good facilities nearby

Nearby attractions and services include World Health Gym - with pool - 24-hour stores such as IHOP and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. From the nearby metro; the Smithsonian Museum, Kennedy Center, National Mall and White House can be accessed easily.

Negative Reviews

Not a clean sweep

They sting you for a charge to cover cleaning but then they never lift a finger in that direction. You clean the place yourself.

High-living with the stars

You won’t be star-struck by the apartment’s location. It’s three flights up, high in the sky - and there’s no lift. Add to the height of the property an apparent water pressure problem and it comes as no surprise to find that the shower is less than satisfactory.

Matters of convenience

They side-step the bathroom description issue. It’s separate to the main area of the apartment and designated as being private. That, though, doesn’t always deter others from using it – resulting in it feeling shared, rather than private. Those others seem to get away with this; if, though, you venture into their designated bathroom, prepare for financial ruin as fines of huge proportions are heaped upon you.
