The location is absolutely brilliant

The hotel is very easy to find Accessing the M40 motorway from the hotel is easy The Hilton Warwick is close to a host of tourist attractions Stratford and the Warwick city centre are quite near and Birmingham International Airport is a 20-minute drive away Spacious car park.

Competent staff

Most of the staff is hospitable, pleasant, attentive and efficient The reception staff does a good job for check-in/out The housekeeping staff does a good job of keeping the rooms clean.

The rooms are generally okay

By and large the beds are quite comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms nicely cleaned, the furnishings are adequate, and it is pleasantly quiet for sleeping.

Negative Reviews

Lots to complain about in many rooms

Rooms and suites are virtually alike so don’t bother getting an upgrade Wi-Fi is poor and not free The décor and fittings including TVs are quite dated Expect only the basic channels on your TV Many beds are tired, have old, thin mattresses and the springs may poke you while you sleep You may encounter non-functional climate control, bathroom walls with mould stains, grimy tubs and hard-to-flush toilets The bottled water in the room is not complementary but rather very exorbitantly priced.

Nasty experiences in the bar and restaurant

Guests have to wait quite long to get served by waitresses Personnel at the bar don’t seem to be knowledgeable about wines The food is amateurishly prepared The breakfast buffet is depressing and the food on display isn’t fresh The prices charged for coffee/tea, wines and food are prohibitively expensive The bar just has a single TV which is hard to watch from the back (it’s good to sit round the fire though).
