Positive Reviews

Well located

Multiple guests have liked the location of this hostel, as it is in downtown Toronto and just a few blocks from CF Toronto Eaton Centre. There is a metro station nearby, as well, making it easy to reach the rest of the city's downtown core.

Nice rooftop terrace

Many guests have appreciated the rooftop terrace at this property. From this terrace, guests have been able to watch the city's skyline, which is particularly impressive at night.

Very secure

Guests have commented that this property is quite secure, especially at night, as there is on-site security that has to let you into the building. In addition, security makes sure that everyone entering the building has a key, so that no outsiders can get into the hostel.

Negative Reviews

No air conditioning

Numerous guests have been upset about the lack of air conditioning at this hostel. Toronto gets very hot during the summer and being in a room without air conditioning and very little ventilation was almost unbearable for guests.

Slow, scary elevators

The elevators at this property are old and worn down, making guests feel unsafe about using them. Guests have also reported that there are long waits to get into the elevator, which made it difficult to leave because this is a very large building.

Dirty rooms and bathrooms

There have been complaints about the rooms not being very clean for guests upon arrival. The shared bathrooms have also been criticised by guests who have found them to be filthy throughout their stays and, therefore, very difficult to comfortably use.
