Clean and comfortable rooms

Guests describe the rooms as being clean and comfortable. They are also described as reasonably sized with a decent selection of amenities, including air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The fact that many guests found the rooms were reasonably priced is a bonus.

The Clock Tower restaurant typically attracts positive feedback. Guests find the staff are equally as pleasant as those in the hotel itself. Plus, the food seems to be of a good standard. There's nothing fancy on the table but if you like cheap and cheerful pub grub, this restaurant is seemingly a good bet.

Negative Reviews

Some noise to contend with

Guests mention that there is some traffic noise to contend with, mainly from cars passing through the drive-through facility at the McDonalds. This goes on until midnight and kicks off again early in the morning. Thankfully, the rooms have air-con so you will, at least, be able to keep your window closed.

Premium Wi-Fi may not impress

Repeat business guests mention that they found very little difference between the speed of the free and premium Wi-Fi. The only difference noted by some was the ability to connect three devices to the premium version.

Minor points

While much of the hotel's feedback is favourable, minor niggles crop up from time to time. Guests mention that a limited number of towels are provided, there is no shaver point in the bathroom and there is only one chair in each room.
