Positive Reviews

Quality rooms at a good price

Guests are consistently complimentary about the standard of the rooms at the Premier Inn Tamworth South. The accommodation is found to be clean and quiet with a good range of amenities. Only very few guests thought the rooms were expensive, with the majority finding them well priced for the area.

Friendly and helpful service

The staff attract numerous positive comments in reviews of this hotel, with most guests finding them welcoming and friendly. The staff seem to have everything running smoothly and many comments from guests suggest they are more than happy to go the extra mile to impress.

Convenient location

The location of the hotel suited many guests, especially families who used the hotel as a launch pad from which to visit the many family-friendly attractions nearby. Also, business guests found that it was easy to reach the NEC in Birmingham.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast is pricey for light eaters

While the majority of guests were pleased with the standard of the breakfast on offer in the neighbouring restaurant, some point out that there was no option to enjoy a lighter bite at a lower price. The breakfast choices do offer value for money but not if you only fancy tea and toast.

Busy road and roundabout

The proximity of the motorway is convenient but guests mention that, due to congestion, it can take up to half an hour to reach the roundabout. Then, it can be a little hairy to get onto the motorway thanks to the amount of traffic.

Occasional complaints

There doesn't appear to be any significant issues at this hotel. There are minor shortcomings, of course, such as how there is only one chair in each room and infrequent issues with the door key cards, but there are no deal breakers.
