Positive Reviews

Fantastic location

The location of this hostel is by far the most frequently noted highlight of this property. Being steps from Bondi Beach is the obvious plus point but guests also find shopping and dining spots are within a short distance. The Sydney CBD and big ticket attractions such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge are also easily accessible.

Great atmosphere

Guests have felt comfortable here. There's a good group of friendly staff at the helm and the property provides plenty of social spaces where you can mingle with other guests. There are bars and nightlife spots to enjoy nearby with your new friends.

While this hostel is far from perfect, guests do tend to find that the property offers a budget-friendly accommodation option in Bondi Beach. The room rates are reasonable and you'll be able to save money on dining out thanks to the on-site kitchen facilities.

Negative Reviews

Rooms could be improved

Feedback about the rooms and dorms here isn't all that great. Guests have found the accommodation a bit of a squeeze and, in many cases, in a poor state of repair. There's a fair bit of noise to contend with and guests have tended to find the beds uncomfortable.

Poor kitchen and bathroom cleanliness

Although having access to an on-site kitchen has proved convenient, guests have tended to find the kitchen is rather chaotic and not as clean as it could be. Guests also describe the bathrooms as poorly maintained and a little dirty at times.

Wi-Fi may disappoint

Guests have found the Wi-Fi here disappointing, commenting that the connection was slow - if they were able to get online at all. Upgrades do seem to have taken place so it's possible that the problem has been resolved.
