The location of The Lost ex Terraces is perfect for those wanting to spend time in the city centre, as you are among all of the shopping and entertainment in a few minutes, while the Stirling Castle is also just a short walk away.

Reasonable comfort for money.

If you are not expecting luxury rooms and just want a comfortable bed to spend the night in then the rooms here provide that at a reasonable rate.

Helpful staff, breakfast thrown in.

You will find the few staff members you encounter at The Lost ex Terraces to nevertheless be friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast they put on has a decent variety with hot options and seems to only be missing some fruit.

Photos do not show neglect.

As of 2015, the property seems to have shifted from offering hotel rooms to guest-house style accommodation. Guests found the property to be suffering in the meantime, with the neglected rooms and halls not matching the photos online, and the entry area u

A few issues have been encountered with the rooms, including lack of cleaning during the stay, showers trickling for a start before properly functioning, and thin walls, but many guests have been understanding, considering the cheap price.

Be aware that this is more like guest house than a hotel, with no staff on site from 9pm to 6.30am, no bar or restaurant, and a minimum of staff during opening hours.
