Positive Reviews

Nice views from room

If you have the right room, then you get a lovely view of the river and the city, and it's nice to sit downstairs for a drink and watch the world go by. You won't find too many places with such nice views in the city.

Delicious food

You may never eat the same thing twice if you regularly stay at this hotel as they are constantly adding specials and seasonal dishes to the menu. The food is top notch, and many guests are very impressed with the chef's skills in this hotel.

Friendly staff

The staff are very friendly to newcomers to the city and have plenty of advice about places to go for a bite to eat or a drink. They're also great with the menu in the restaurant and can walk you through every item to find the ideal dish for you.

Negative Reviews

Poorly managed

Some guests that have stayed at this hotel found that the manager wasn't very eager to help out the guests. No matter what your problem is he tends to shy away from taking care of it, and it makes some people feel very uncomfortable.

The hotel is average at best and extremely overpriced for what it is. The rooms aren't that great, and the entire place could do with a good clean. All in all, this adds up to an expensive yet unsatisfactory stay. Some guests feel that better value can be found at other hotels.

Misleading photos

The pictures online suggest that this is a place with boutique rooms and a pub full of old world charm, yet none of that is evident when you check in. The rooms aren't terrible but nothing like the photos suggest while the bathrooms are quite small.
