This area is a paradise for tourists and golfers alike, with much to appeal to both. The hotel is perfect, with nice en-suite rooms, great golf course views and the advantage of a friendly public bar. Spot on … a hole in 1!

Lovely breakfast

The breakfast room itself just invites you to relax and enjoy a choice of breakfast – Scottish style!

Friendly staff

Very helpful, friendly staff, are always happy to give directions or offer advice. Many golfers tend to know what they’re here for and where it's to be found. There are, though, many non-golfers staying here and the hotel makes sure that they too, enjoy this glorious region to full advantage.

Negative Reviews

Hotly overpriced

They are able to charge virtually whatever they want, because of the location, but, in reality, it’s all OK but pretty average and not meriting the cost. Heating in the rooms has a mind of its own and can be near impossible to turn off.

Poor water pressure

When hotels advertise en-suite rooms, it is reasonable to assume that you will be able to enjoy a shower. Not so! Depending, probably, on the time of day and the number of other rooms wanting the same thing, half decent showers are an impossibility … This is a real ‘turn off’!
