Very friendly and welcoming staff members

The family run hotel has a very relaxed and easy going atmosphere and this coupled with the warm and accommodating attitudes of the members of staff makes it a very pleasant hotel to stay at The staff know the area well and offer suggestions on attractions that they think might be of interest.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained guestrooms

The hotel is very well maintained The fittings and furnishings are well kept and the art blends in with the general decor in the hotel The rooms are spacious and have windows that open Bathrooms have excellent power showers and are sufficiently roomy.

The breakfast spread is good and expertly prepared

The breakfast menu appears to be a guest favourite Many were pleased by the variety of dishes on offer and the relative inexpensiveness compared to similar breakfast spreads in comparable hotels The items were well prepared and very delicious.

Negative Reviews

The hotel appeared to be understaffed at times

A few guests have complained about the lack of adequate staffing at the hotel During peak hours when the hotel was at full capacity, the restaurant appeared to be rather hectic and orders were delayed On a few occasions guests were inconvenienced when the bar shut down early because of lack of a bartender.

The hotel’s wireless internet connection is very slow

A number of guests found the Wi-Fi provided to be undesirable The speeds were too slow and only suitable for very light web browsing and this inconvenienced those who had to handle large files.

The heater can be temperamental during the winter

Some guests were disappointed by the central heating in the rooms especially during the colder seasons The rooms could not get hot enough and those affected had to bundle up in order to stay warm.
