English breakfast is a great day starter.

Each morning, the hotel puts together a fantastic assortment of English and continental selections, including hot favourites and cold delights, as well as hot real coffee, tea and a variety of juices. Just make sure you ask the hotel staff for the hours, because you don’t want to explore Southampton on an empty stomach.

On foot, by bus or by metro, you’ll be a matter of moments from any number of entertaining and enjoyable excursions like the shore and Southampton Maritime Museum.

Reasonable rates for the shore.

Negative Reviews

No complimentary Wi-Fi.

While the Polygon Villas Guest House does provide complimentary Wi-Fi for its guests, several prior residents have complained that the signal can be fairly weak, depending upon your location in the hotel. For the best signal, you may wish to select a room closer to the lobby or do your surfing from there.

Hot water shortage.

Although the hotel does offer many of the conveniences of home, such as television, wireless internet and a coffee and tea maker, the shower department may leave you a little cold. Some guests have noted that the hot water tends to be in short supply and runs out quickly.

Can be a little raucous at night.

Throughout the course of the day, the hotel is a quaint and comfortable place to relax on your holiday. However, some guests have noted that, due to the amount of younger tourists and the hotel’s area, nights and weekends can be a little noisy. You may want include ear plugs on your to-pack list.
