The large buffet breakfast that is served every morning offers many delicious and healthy choices. There are cold options such as cereal and hot options like sausages, eggs and bacon.

Easy-to-find and Located in Quiet and Central Area

Although the Express by Holiday Inn Southampton West is located near a main motorway, the hotel is very quiet and you can’t hear any noise coming from outside. It almost feels like you are in the countryside until you realize how close you actually are to a city.

Staff is Friendly, Helpful and Welcoming

Staff help ensure that the booking, check-in and check-out processes at this hotel run smoothly without any inconveniences to guests. They are quick, friendly, accommodating and always smiling.

Some Staff Members are Unhelpful and Defensive

Some staff members seem like they don’t care about the well-being of guests. They don’t do anything extra and they don’t properly rectify issues or apologize when things go wrong. Some guests have also reported the hotel is understaffed resulting overall poor service.

The Heat is Unbearable at Times

Some guests have reported that there is no air conditioning in the rooms and, as a result, the rooms can become unbearably hot. Some have said they had fans in the room but the fans either didn’t work or they kicked up a lot of dust. Others reported that there were no fans in their room at all.
