Positive Reviews

Great Location.

The location of the guest house is very good and quite close to the city centre. As a result there are many pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. The owners are a couple and try to be warm and welcoming. The owners also know the area very well and can make

Great Breakfast.

The breakfast is cooked to order and served hot. The food is made from good quality ingredients and tastes delicious. The vegetarian breakfast option is also well-cooked and tasty. The hospitality tray provided in the room is also well-stocked.

Comfortable, Spacious Rooms.

The rooms are quite spacious, although the bathrooms can feel a little bit compact. The beds are comfortable as well and extra pillows are available under the bed in the room. Overall the rooms are tidy and cosy.

Negative Reviews

The parking facilities provided on-site are very limited and accessed through a narrow entranceway. There is also the possibility of being blocked in because of the limited space. Guests arriving by car should be aware of this although street parking is a

Can be Noisy.

The guest house is located next to a fairly busy road which can be noisy at times. A College pub is also next door and can remain open quite late so some noise disturbance can come from there as well.

Tricky To Find.

The guest house can be tricky to find, especially at night. There is no proper sign which indicates the correct place to turn. However if you are lost the owners are very nice and can be reached by phone to ask for detailed directions.
