Great hospitality

The staff members at the Jaz Fanara Residence are helpful and welcoming. From the front office to the service staff and even the leisure activity staff have been appreciated in guest reviews. They make the guests feel welcome and add to the great atmosphere of the hotel. Ahmed from reception has been mentioned as having been particularly good. The animation team here is very good, providing great entertainment for the guests.

Good, clean rooms

The rooms are described as spacious, clean and bright, with wonderful views. They are cleaned every morning to a very high standard, which adds to the comfort level of the guests.

Great bars

There are some great bars in the hotel, especially the lobby bar, called Fantasia. The decor here is a fusion of Ottoman and Moroccan, which gives a very pleasing effect, say guests. The cocktails are reportedly very good here.

Negative Reviews

Wi-Fi can prove frustrating

The quality of the Wi-Fi here has proved disappointing. Guests have found it difficult to get online and have been told to use the connection at the neighbouring hotel. This is deemed unacceptable in this day and age.

More seafood please!

While guests have generally been impressed by the standard of dining here, they do often comment that they wished there was more seafood on the menu. Considering this is seaside accommodation, they had assumed that bountiful seafood would be a given.

Rooms appear to differ from main hotel

Feedback from guests indicates that there’s a feeling that the rooms here are less impressive than those in the hotel. The accommodation doesn't appear to be awful but more maintenance issues are definitely reported here than in the hotel.
