Great value for money if you're on a budget.

What Grandmas Seminyak does very well is offer modern and well equipped rooms for a reasonable rate. It's not without its faults here and there, but you'll struggle to find a hotel with similar facilities for the same price in Seminyak.

Good location in a popular beach resort.

This hotel is just 300 metres from the beach, so you can easily stroll down for a quick dip in the sea and a sunbathe. You're also very close to many trendy bars and nightclubs, not to mention all the restaurants that line the streets.

Lovely staff always try their best to help.

The people working here are professional, cheerful and courteous. Even when things get bad, like a broken air conditioner in your room or the hot water not working, the staff keep smiling and do their very best to solve the problem.

Negative Reviews

You're continually disconnected from the Wi-Fi.

Every five minutes the free Wi-Fi here will be disconnected from your laptop or smartphone if you're not constantly using it. This is a real pain because you have to login with a username and password all over again.

Overall cleanliness is not up to scratch.

If you can't stand the odd hair on the carpet or some mould in the bathroom then you might want to look elsewhere for a room. This is a cheap hotel, but frankly it could be kept a lot cleaner.

Room could feel a bit too small if you're sharing.

Grandmas Seminyak markets itself as a budget hotel, but what it doesn't tell you about is the size of its rooms. Free space is kept to an absolute minimum and these rooms really are a squeeze for two adults.
