A wonderful location

The location of this guest house gives you the best of both worlds. Although you feel like you're out in the country, you are within walking distance of restaurants, shops and local attractions. The sea front is just a 15 minute walk away and this area is a great place to hang your hat if you like cycling, walking and bird-watching.

Negative Reviews

The guest rooms could use an update

The guest rooms at The Coast Yard could use some updates. Older carpeting, dated furnishings and bathroom fixtures that have seen better days could detract from your stay.

Some rooms are smaller than others

Some of the guest rooms are on the small side which could be problematic for those who are travelling with more than one person, have lots of luggage in tow or need extra room to manoeuvre. If this is the case for you, be sure to request a larger accommodations.

The rooms are pricey

The accommodations here are a bit overpriced for what you get, especially in terms of the age of the property and the range of amenities.
