Not Quite Ready to Go

Recently reopened after renovations following a devastating hurricane, the hotel is returning to its former glory. There is a suggestion that small scale construction work is still ongoing in some areas of the hotel, though a quieting on that front in more recent reviews suggests work may well be nearing completion.

Floundering Staff in Need of Help

Reviewer comments imply that around the time of re-opening the hotel suffered from under-staffing. Queues at check-in/out, long waits for rooms to be readied, empty minibars and slow pool-side service suggests a situation that could have been remedied with a few more feet on the ground. Recent reviews imply the issue has been successfully addressed.
