Many said they felt completely safe walking back to their rooms in the evenings and appreciated the guest house’s proximity to many popular attractions such as St Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museums.

Handy on-site facilities.

One of the advantages of staying here, according to many, was being able to use the very well-equipped communal kitchen in which guests were able to prepare and store their own food. The kitchen was said to include all the essential cooking utensils as well and even an array of spices and oils which the guests found very handy.

Helpful and friendly host.

Many were full of praise for the owner who was described as very accommodating and customer-focused. Guests said that their host was flexible when it came to check-out times and would gladly store luggage free of charge. Many said that he possessed a wealth of information with regards to the town and was able to offer guests invaluable advice on what to visit and best places to dine.

Negative Reviews

A bit of a trek from town centre.

Some guests were disappointed to find that they had to get transport in order to get to the city centre.

Rooms can feel rather cold.

Guests who stayed here during cooler weather said that they were often quite cold as the central heating is switched on only in winter. The tiled floors were also said to be uncomfortably cold for those without slippers.

Noise issues.

The walls were said to be rather thin as guests said they could hear noise from adjoining rooms. Some were disturbed by the dustbin vans in the early mornings.
