About Navona Tower Relais

Housed in a historic building with a restored medieval turret, Navona Tower Relais is a boutique guest house providing elegant contemporary accommodation with air conditioning.

There are five rooms and two apartments available. All feature a unique design, en-suite bathroom, mini fridge, work desk and flat-screen TV. The apartments also have kitchenettes.

The reception desk is staffed during limited hours, but the staff there can provide local information and assist with luggage storage for those with late departures.

Breakfast is available at a nearby cafe by special arrangement with the guest house. Nearby Piazza Navona is surrounded by an incredible number of cafes, restaurants and bars. Bernini Ristorante stands out as a place with excellent traditional Italian fare.

The Pantheon, one of the oldest standing buildings in the city, is just 650 metres from Navona Tower Relais. Those looking for more recent, but certainly no less grand, architecture can head to St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. It is approximately 13 minutes' drive away.

Positive Reviews

Great central location all round

Considering that the guest house is very centrally situated in one of the oldest districts in the city, it came as no surprise that guests typically listed the location as their favourite feature. Guests reported that they could walk to virtually all the big attractions that had brought them to the city in a reasonable time.

Superb host

Guests had nothing but praise for the guest house’s host, Gianni. He was described as being the perfect host, with a friendly disposition and great organisational abilities. Guests were particularly impressed by the transport arrangements he made for them and generally felt well taken care of when at the guest house. They also loved that sweets and other delicious treats were left in their room daily by the cleaners.

Stylish and comfortable rooms

Guests clearly felt very much at home in their rooms. They said that they were very stylish and often used the word "comfortable" to describe their experience of the rooms.

Negative Reviews

Very noisy at night

This part of Rome is very popular at night, with many bars and cafes that stay open late into the night. Guests reported that there was a lot of noise generated on the streets below and that it could definitely be heard up in the rooms. Light sleepers are advised to take earplugs.

No lift in the building

Guests pointed out that the guest house was in an old building and that it didn't have a lift. While assistance was typically available for luggage, guests still had to walk up and down the stairs multiple times during their stay.

Very basic breakfast

Guests reported that the breakfast, which was taken at a nearby café, was quite basic. They said it consisted of a limited variety of foods.
