Positive Reviews

Close to the Colosseum

Guests were thrilled about the hotel's location and being able to see the Colosseum every day. All around the Colosseum, you'll find many famous Roman attractions and beautiful cathedrals. Guests were also surprised how easy it was to get around the city on foot, and that the historic city centre was so close. In addition, people really liked the local neighbourhood for its varied and plentiful dining options. Budget travellers will also appreciate having a supermarket just across the street.

Clean and Comfortable

Most of the rooms are impressively spacious. Though they are limited in amenities, the rooms felt very comfortable and livable. Guests noticed how well-kept the hotel and the rooms were. Modern necessities like good air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, and a refreshing shower were also very appreciated.

Always Available

The hotel staff are kind and welcoming. Guests appreciated that they were always easy to contact and quick to respond. Any concerns were generally resolved quickly. In addition, guests noted that the staff are full of useful information about the city, so don't hesitate to ask for recommendations.

Negative Reviews

So-So Soundproofing

The rooms are located on the ground floor, so noise can be an issue due to the busy street nearby.

Something Smells

In recent reviews, guests noticed that the rooms felt a bit stuffy and humid, thus causing an unpleasant smell in some of the rooms. In addition, a stench from the plumbing can occasionally be noticed in the bathrooms, but this is a common issue throughout Rome.

Chilly Temperatures

There is no heater in the room, but the A/C does have a heating function. However, some guests thought their room was a bit cold even with it running.
