Positive Reviews

Fantastic staff

The staff at the Radstock Hotel have received many compliments from guests for their accommodating nature, from helping with directions to the nearest historical landmarks, or suggesting an appropriate meal for a special occasion. You will be well looked after here.

Charm of an English pub

There are many visitors who book their next vacation just for the great atmosphere and charm of an old, traditional English pub. Guests tend to visit until the early hours of the morning where you will find good food and economically priced drinks.

Lovely warm rooms

Tired travellers just love the cosy, warm rooms after a long day of local sightseeing. You will feel quite comfortable in these rooms with all the amenities you need for a vacation. The seating area will also provide you with a relaxing spot to unwind.

Negative Reviews

Traffic a little noisy

If you enjoy the late night vibe down at the on-site pub, and the loud music and cheers, then you won't have an issue, however if you prefer to get an early night, you should rather request a room at the rear of the hotel. There is a lot less traffic and noisy lorries on that side.

In need of a facelift

Although the charm is tangible, visitors have begun to notice the building is starting to look a little on the tired side. Hallways are a bit shabby, and there are some areas where the paint has been peeling off. A facelift might be a good investment for the Radstock Hotel.

Some beds a bit firm

Although most guests do report a good night's sleep, there have been some comments from guests who feel that the beds are a bit too firm. If you are unhappy, the helpful staff will assist in changing rooms or beds.
