By the sea of Puerto de la Cruz is Hotel Hotel Tropical, which offers both rooms and studios at an affordable rate.

Guests can choose from a single, twin, double or studio. All rooms of the hotel have en-suites, a TV and safes. Free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms.

The hotel has an outdoor pool with a sundeck for lounging as well as a TV lounge indoors. The front desk is open 24 hours where guests can hire a car or have laundry done.

Studio apartments have kitchenettes for guests to cook their own meals and save money if they wish. Alternatively the hotel’s restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has a bar.

As well as being by the beach and boulevard, the Hotel Hotel Tropical is 800 metres from Martianez Lake district that includes seven saltwater lakes, bars, restaurants and shops.

Convenient Holiday Location.

Just a few moments from the sea side and a short walk to town guests most appreciated the hotel’s proximity to supermarkets, shops, banks and bars.

Cheerful Staff.

The cheerful part of ‘cheap and cheerful’, guests enjoyed the upbeat and helpful staff at the Hotel Tropical who, for the most part, offered advice and help when requested.

Clean and Tidy.

While some guests felt the room quality left a little to be desired, they thought the rooms were clean and tidy, offering an inviting welcome on entry.

Negative Reviews

Noisy At Night.

Despite its convenient location, the biggest complaint from guests was about with the loud music that would filter in from the street and the neighbouring clubs.

Limited Kitchen Facilities.

There are both rooms and studios. The studios feature a kitchenette but some guests felt it was under stocked with the necessary items to prepare a meal, defeating the purpose of the kitchenette.

Could Be More Comfortable.

The rooms are furnished rather basically. Some guests said that unfortunately the rooms could be more comfortable, the beds were not to their standard or furnishings becoming tired and worn out.
