Positive Reviews

Lovely Location

The hotel boasts a perfect location in Porto. Guests say you can get almost anywhere in the city on foot, and the metro is not too far away for more distant journeys. Old town is only ten minutes away, while the city centre is about 15 minutes away. The beach is also not too far away. There are plenty of authentic eateries in the area, including a really nice restaurant and bakery next door. There is also plenty of shopping, and even a convenience store nearby as well.

Basic Necessities

The rooms are simple but equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Guests say the accommodations are clean and well-designed, and feature a heavenly bed and an amazing shower with strong water pressure. It looks like the rooms were recently renovated and well maintained. Quick tip: Ask for a room with a view!

Pleasant Personnel

The staff is said to be friendly and helpful. Guests noticed they seem to genuinely care about guest wellbeing. The front desk is always willing and happy to assist with anything you need, including making tour bookings. They are also quite knowledgeable about the area and can give excellent local recommendations.

Negative Reviews

Small Spaces

Some of the rooms are quite small. Guests say there’s barely any rooms to open a suitcase and unpack.

Street Noise

Noise can be an issue here due to the busy street outside, and the popular neighbouring restaurant. Ask for a room facing away from the road, or bring some earplugs as a precaution.

Wi-Fi Woes

Guests were disappointed that there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms – it is only available in the common areas.
